Material classification based on time-of-flight data

Using raw measurements from a time-of-flight sensor we are able to perform classification between several different materials:
- paper
- styrofoam
- towel
- wax
Those results could be extended to other material such as different kind of plastics or metal.
Such classification could have great applications in low-cost, at-the-edge, automatic waste management. Saving money and the environment.
